Big bass was awarded on the ladies side to Carrie Hutchinson with a 6.10 pound bass and on the gentlemen’s side it was Al Torrey with a 6.60 pound bass.

These teams are acquiring valuable points to insure their birth in the National Championship that will be held this fall.

2. Robbie & Jennifer Rice             20.95 Lbs.
3. Steve & Carolyn Mitchell          14.00 Lbs.
4. Butch & Trina Yarborough        13.40 Lbs.
5. Richard & Carolyn Leigeber       13.35 Lbs.

Conditions: It was a beautiful day in Alabama. The morning started cold, but the afternoon was warmer with temperatures topping out in the low sixties. The water temperature averaged about (45) degrees.

Winning Strategy: Most of the top teams caught their fish on lipless crankbaits & jerkbaits. The key was targeting warmer water up-river.
