Jeremy and Julee Botica Win at Cross Lake

From Division 10, 15 Nov 2009, Louisiana North - Jeremy and Julee Botica from Haughton, LA are now one step closer to the American Couples Series Championship with this 1st Place win and $405 in the American Couples Series Team tournament held on Cross Lake Lake this past weekend. Jeremy and Julee’s four bass limit weighed in at 10.65 pounds. The second place team was Mike and Laurie Cork from Benton, LA with a weight of 6.07 pounds. The third place team was Russell and Denise Mason from Bossier City, LA with a total weight of 4.23 pounds. Big bass on the ladies side was Laurie Cork with a 1.28 pound bass and on the gentlemen’s side it was Jeremy Botica with a 6.78 pound bass.

These teams are acquiring valuable points to insure their birth in National Championship that will be held this fall.

The top five teams were:
1. Jeremy and Julee Botica     10.65 lbs.
2. Mike and Laurie Cork           6.07 lbs.
3. Russell and Denise Mason     4.23 lbs.
4. Mickey and Terri Page         3.70 lbs.
5. Bo and Tina Keith               3.37 lbs.

Conditions: The weather held throughout the despite forecasts of rain and wind. Temps ranged from 53 at takeoff to the upper 60’s at weigh in.
